I have a TV out function in both of my Video card. The problem is, I don't know how to use it.

Please help me.

I own a NVIdia feForce FX5200

Thank Yall!

First, plug in your video cable.

Click the NVIDIA Setting tray icon and select nView Display Mode and select the spanning, clone or output mode you want.

OR

Go to Display Properties, Setting tab, Advanced button, GeForce FX 5200 tab, nView Display Mode option on the left. You can also select the video out type (composite or S-Video) and adjust the centering/size of the TV output.

Note that you can only display up to a (scaled) 1024x768 resolution on TV out.

One thing to keep in mind is that whatever you have plugged into the S-Video/RCA may need to be turned on, otherwise the video card won't see that it's plugged in and the drivers will not let you select it.

many cards also automaticallly turn on the TV out when it is the only output hooked up, radeons, geforce 2 and MX and 3 do this I havnt tried a geforce 4 or fx though

btw are you setting up a htpc or just playing with tv out?

Yep. Everything from POST through Windows will show on a TV when that's the only output connected. No macrovision problems when TV out is the primary display, either. I used NVIDIA cards for the 3 HTPC I built/used before because it's really easy to set up and adjust.

Kickass...I am assuming this will work with a ATI card as well?
