How to uninstall driver

How do I uninstall a driver when it wont let me in device manager or add/remove programs?

Yes, Tried safe mode and that didn't work.

It's the old AMD dual-core driver. Was uninstalling it so I could install the new one that came out. In add/remove programs it gives me this error

Whenever I go in Device manager, it says it needs to reboot to finish, but nothing happens when I restart.

Have you tried just installing the new one and seeing if it will replace the one that is there?

Wont let me Install with the old one there.

How about a manual driver update in the Device Manager? (Assuming you can place the driver inf files in an accessable place)

Well, I rebooted again and it gave me a windows corrupt error. I said "To hell with it" and reformatted.
