How to get more curve out of an EasyMountLCD.com triple mount

After looking for quite some time for a triple monitor arm I finally decided to give the one from EasyMountLCD a shot after reading the opinions in the following post http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1644051.

Here are some shots detailing the individual pieces as I feel the website gives a very poor representation.

The left arm (to show the curve)

Clamp (screws the to main post)

One of the outer monitor clamps (there are two of these total)

Here it is assembled

Frontal view (these are three Dell U2412M monitors)

As you can see, the mount provides very little curve for 24 inch monitors. It is noted in the discussion thread above, and solved by adding blocks of wood between the outer monitors and the brackets.

However, I found out that the same manufacture also makes a TV wall mount that just happens to be the exact same design as the center mount. While the two joint articulation is lost, it allows for a MUCH greater curve.

Here is the TV wall mount (minus the wall bracket) and the center mount side by side.

And here is the final result

I am extremely satisfied with the mount for less than $100 and would recommend anyone who is looking for something similar to give it a shot.

Here is an imgur album for anyone who wants to see all the images in one place http://imgur.com/a/4c6Bh#.Twi0rOsInE8.link

I plan on copying your setup just as soon as they get the stands in stock.... Someday right?

Thanks a lot for the review. Very good.
I assume you need a good table to hold all that weight in 1 location.

@Bviper

Can you post a portrait landscape portrait picture?

Nice set up btw.

Got the monitor stand, its amazing. I also ordered a 27 inch monitor with it. Now I just need to order the center thing to get better angles.

You sweet, beautiful man. This is exactly what I've been looking for.

I saw that thread linked in the OP, but was put off by the lack of curvature and the need to ghetto mod it for better viewing, but this... I like this.

I'd also love to see it in PLP or triple-portrait mode, if you could.

I need a different desk... I thinking about just getting one of those folding tables they sell at office max...

Yes, I talked to the OP and I have the same stuff. He's awesome for sharing.

Ah, awesome! Going to grab one.

What size monitors are you using? I'm planning on doing 3 21.5 inch ones. How's your setup, any issues with it?

I know I'm resurrecting an old thread, but it looks like they integrated this idea into their product:
