How to find out which monitors a store has on display easily without traveling their first if possible? If not no big deal

Calling box stores is a joke. Even if someone answers, and they by luck transfer you to someone that can find his/her ass with both hands, there's still a good chance you aren't going to get the correct answer about what's in stock.
