How many intel pcs do you own?

Currently I have only one, my LAN party box which has a 3.2Ghz P4 (my old main rig). My current main rig is an AMD X2 4400+.

6 total :

PC # 1 & PC # 2 in sig at home

Laptop at home

# 3 in sig at work

2 other PC's at work

I only have one computer at the time, it's expensive enough to keep it up to date.

I have had several intel processors over the years though.

CPU: 8086
Speed: 4.77 MHz
RAM: 512kb RAM
Graphics: MDA card
Had it for only about 3 days due to faults.

CPU: 8088
Speed 4.77 MHz / 7.16 MHz (Turbo!)
RAM: 640kb RAM
Graphics: Hercules
Good for playing tetris and Kings Quest II and III

CPU: 80286
Speed: Can't really remember, though it was faster than my older computers
RAM: I'm guessing 1 or 2 MB.
Graphics: CGA (4 colors), later EGA (16 colors)
Good for running Windows 3.0

CPU: 80386
Speed: 33 MHz
RAM: Don't remember
Graphics: EGA
Good for playing Sim City (the original)

CPU: Pentium
Speed: 133 MHz
RAM: 16 MB
Graphics: Inbuilt in motherboard, some crap probably, used 2MB of the computers RAM leaving only 14MB.
Good for running Windows 95 and Doom/Heretic. Not good for upgrading.

CPU: Pentium II
Speed: 450 MHz
RAM: 128 MB
Graphics: 3DFX banshee, now uses a Geforce 2 though.
I gave it away, and it's still in operation.

CPU: Core 2 Duo E6400
Speed: 2130 MHz (to be increased)
RAM: 2 GB
Graphics: Geforce 7600 GS 512MB
I really don't like the noise my harddrive is making, or the heat it's generating, I must replace it.

All four of mine have Intel CPU's. Two Northwood P4 @ 3.0GHz, one mobile Celeron @ 1.6GHz and one P3 @ 600MHz. I have only owned one AMD computer; it was an HP Pavilion with an Athlon 800 that I picked up for cheap. Everything else (486 SX/25MHz, Pentium 60MHz, Pentium Overdrive 133MHz, Pentium 233MHz, P2-366, P2-450, P3-600, P3-1GHz, P4-1.7GHz, P4-2.53GHz, P4-3.06GHz) has been Intel or Apple (a //c and a G3 iMac).

Out of 9 computers, 4 are intel. 2 intel in my laptops and 2 desktop.

We talking how many HAVE we had? I've had 7 including the one posted above:

Pentium 133
Two Pentium 200's
Celeron 300A
PIII 550
P4B 2.8
current P4C 3.2 in my LAN party box.

Just don't ask me to list all my AMD PC's cause the list is even longer... :p

Most of my machines are intel now. Notebook I'm typing on now in class is a pentum m. Desktop is a Pentium D, secondary system is a pentium 4ht. Both my brothers have celeron systems I built/bought them. The systems I made for my stepfather are athlon xps. Don't have anymore athlon 64 systems.

Two are Intel, two are AMD.

a Core 2 Duo system (main gaming setup)
an i875/P4 system that my son uses
an Opteron 170 system (audio/music system)
an Athlon 64 notebook

Basically everything Intel released between that i875 system and the Core 2 Duo system didn't compare to the AMDs, so I didn't buy any of it.

Yea at that time the amd systems were in many cases a better bang for the buck but in my case I got a 3Ghz p4 ht for free so I built a system around it(well I gave that to a customer but was able to RMA the 2.8 that was in the system). My Pentium D system is built off a retail edge combo. Can't beat that price. Had a athlon 64 system I sold to a buddy cheap. The pentium d kills in it multitasking which is what I do.

Out of the 5 machines I have had, all were Intel.

3 desktops (one Pentium 1, one Pentium 4 Willamette, one Pentium 4 Northwood C)
2 laptops (1.4 Pentium 4m, 1.8 Dothan Pentium M).

Next machine (the 6th) is looking to be an intel at this point in time, depending on Kentsfield MCM pricing.

hmm let me try and remember:
286, 486, at least two PI's, a PII laptop, a PII desktop, 4 Celerons on a BP6, 2 Pentium-M Laptops.

so 12 all in all?

my main comp
torrent server
random P3 just lying around
P4 in the other room
another P4 in a different room

so 5. 1 AMD cpu for my file server

Currently have 3 Intel systems up and running at my place:

Gamer-
E6600
Intel Bad Axe
4GB SuperTalent DDR1000
7950GX2
74GB Raptor

24/7 system-

2GB Team Group
7900 GTX
74B Raptor

Media Center-
P-M 740 (Dothan)

2GB Ballistix Tracer
X1600Pro
ATI HDTV Wonder
Hauppauge PVR-250
WD-250GB
WD-320GB
Maxtor 160GB

One.
I parted out my 3.0c system to fund a c2d system

i have 6,

:( for you Donny...but post your AMD systems in the "other" forum! I'm sure plenty of us have AMD systems as well that we could post. I have 3!

Oh and I forgot to mention I have a 1.6ghz P-M laptop and a 2.6ghz P4 at work, but the work PC isn't mine

So should I post my IBM system in which forum?:)

Amiga 2000 with a 286 daughter board
Pentium Pro 200
dual P3 1GHz
P4 2.5a @ 3.0
P4 2.4c @ 3.2
P4 2.8c @ 3.5

6 P4 3.0 at the office with a Xeon 3.0 server

and an Opteron 170 @ 2.6

I have three that currently run:
Pentium M 740 Laptop
Pentium D915 desktop
Williamette P4 desktop that is just sitting idle, needs a HD

I also have somewhere:
Gateway with a 1ghz P3
Gateway with some P3..forget what

Also have a Celeron D 2.93ghz with no computer to go in, pulled it from the Q-Pack

Edit: Every system I have ever had has been Intel

6, if you count the two old systems I have sitting there doing nothing (still fully assembled and working, just not in use as I havent figured out what exactly they will do).

hmm... 6?

Pentium 1 (idk the clocks, too lazy to check)
Pentium 4 1.8Ghz Willamette
Pentium 4 Mobile 3.06Ghz Northwood
Pentium 4 630 3.00Ghz Prescott
Pentium M 1.5Ghz Dothon
Pentium D 805

If I include my shop I own 13 desktops and 3 laptops. All are intel but one of the desktops. All are over 2ghz, 3 are dual xeon servers at my shop, 2 are dual xeon workstations, rest are single cpu.

4.

Intel Celeron Pent II
Pent III
Intel P4 2.52GHz
Intel Core2 Duo E6400

:D Maybe I'll switch to AMD if they get the quad core running

Right now I have about 10 Intel PC's. Most are Pentium 3's, I never cared for the Pentium 4 CPU's so I used only AMD during that time, but looking hard at a C2D when it's time to build a new box.

It said how many do you own as in currently (6 for me)... not how many have you owned....

IF I had answered that it would be a much longer list,
for example just my main gaming rig, has had
9 Intel CPUs, 8 GPUs, & 8 mobos:

Pentium 166
Pentium 3 533b
P3 - 600e OC'd to 900
P3 - 700e OC'd to 1050
P4 - 1.6a OC'd to 2.4
P4 -2.4C OC'd to 3.6
P4EE - 3.4 OC'd to 3.6
PD 920 OC'd to 3.9Ghz
C2D 2.4 OC'd to 3Ghz

Then my back up gamer has often had hand me down CPU's or other cheaper CPUs.

Yeap. I still own that IBM and even thought about sending it to [H] for a retro look since it still works perfectly.
