How many fans do YOU have? =D

poop lets see here. In my older rig:

2x 80mm exhaust
1x 80mm intake
1x 80mm side intake
2x 80mm psu fans
2x 80mm Vantec Spectrum PCI graphics card cooler
2x little fans on the BFG 6800GT
1x Zalman 7000Cu CPU HSF

so thats uh...11. But im getting watercooling for it soon

And on my new watercooled rig:

3x 120mm radiator fans
4x 80mm exhaust
2x 80mm PSU
1x 120mm intake
2x 2 BFG 7800GTX

so that makes 12..but they are all pretty silent
I will get waterblocks for the BFG's when I get the cash,

Im probably forgetting some, but thats good enough

I think I will win.........

Tigger.
4x120mm, Case fans.
6x80mm, Case fans.
2x80mm, CPU fans
2x80mm, PSU fan
1x40mm, Chipset fan.
1x40mm?, Vidiocard fan.
Total 16 fans.

Eeyore.
4x80mm Case fans.
2x80mm, CPU fan.
1x120mm, PSU fan.
1x80mm, PSU fan.
1x40mm, Chipset fan.
1x40mm Vidiocard fan.
Total 10 fans.

Rabbit, Kanga, Roo, Owl & Robin.
2x120mm, Case fan.
2x80mm, CPU fan.
1x40mm, Chipset fan.
1x80mm, PSU fan.
6 fans each.
Total 30 fans

Grand Total 56 fans.........
Plus I may have missed the odd one......... :p

Luck.......... :D

Well with the rig I'm currently on:

1x 80mm tornado CPU fan
2x 80mm exhaust
2x 80mm intake(1 on each side)
1x 120mm delta front intake(151 cfm)
2x 80mm PSU fans
1x Arctic Cooling NVSilencer fan on video card

So 9 fans total. Every fan besides the PSU fans and the GPU fan pushes at least 75 cfm at full blast, but for that reason, every fan is on a fan controller.:)

wonder if laptops count? pretty much 1 for anyone who has one
mines got 2 :p

my new pc (currently in the process of being built) will have:
1x120mm Yate Loon - front intake
1x120mm Yate Loon - back exhaust
1x120mm Adda - PSU exhaust
1x80mm Nexus - top intake
1x80mm Arctic Cooling OEM - CPU fan (Arctic Cooling Freezer64)
1x80mm Thermalright OEM - V-1 Ultra fan

so 6 fans in total. and im aiming for almost absolute silence. im thinkin about replacing the V-1's fan w/ a larger 80mm fan w/ more CFM and less dB.

after i get my w/c set up:

2 120mm radiator fans (79cfm)
2 120x38mm radiator fans (115cfm)
1 120mm casefan (79 cfm)
2 psu (duno)
1 80mm hd fan (duno)

the 4 radiator fans will have controllers :D

1 x 120mm (intake through radiator in front)
2 x 92mm (exhaust out back)

4 X 120mm case fans
1 X 120mm on the CPU
1 X 120mm in the PSU
2 X mini fans on the chipset and GPU

4 Case fans
2 PSU fans
1 CPU HSF
2 7800 fans

= 9 fans total.

With my Zalman controller I can turn them down to the point that you wonder if the computer is even running. :D

2x 120mm intake
1x 120mm exhaust
2x 92mm exhaust
1x 92mm on cpu heatsink
1x on vid card heatsink
1x 120mm for PSU

3 x 120 (1 intake, 2 CPUs)
5 x 80 (1 intake, 3 exhaust, 1 PSU)
1 x 60? (video card)
1 x 40? (North Bridge)

1 LED Blue 120mm Blowing Out
1 LED Blue 80mm Side Blowing Out
1 Thermaltake TR2 M2 CPU Fan
1 HD Cooler with 3 Fans
2 on PSU
1 on Video Card
1 LED Blue Slot Cooler

Right, I've got like 8 fans. But, my very "cool" friend has got like uhm, 28 fans (yes, in ONE computer, but he has got a server-cube-thing :D).
11 x 120mm deltas
3 x 80mm deltas
4 x 92mm panaflos
8 x 80mm nonamers (or atleast he thinks they've got no name, let's call em Charlie)
1 x 60mm noname for RAM.

The noise pollution is bad here.
1x 120mm@ 7 volts (on the radiator)
1x 120mm pwr supply (thermostaticly controlled so its barely running)
1x 40mm on the chipset
At 3 feet you can not hear the computer at all

I have:
1 120mm fan in the PSU
4 120mm fans for the case
(will have) 1 120mm fan for the CPU
(will have) 1 dinky fan from the stock 7800 GT CO
total= 7 fans

I have the 4 (yate loon) case fans funning at about 640 RPMs, and its near dead silent (and pushes about the same amount of air as the antec tricools on low lol). The PSU doesn't make much noise either. I think the most noisy component I have is an old WD 250gig hard drive (its louder than the raptors!). The noise isn't from the seek, jus from the raw spinning of them. Next is probably the small and whiny stock intel P4 fan I have inside at the moment (have it turned down to the minimum, so its not too loud). Once I upgrade my "archive" drives, and the motherboard (along with the CPU and its fan), it will be even more quiet than right now. Well the 7800 GT's fan might ruin all of that but I'll probably get an aftermarket cooler if that happens. :D

Modstream Fan
Zalman CPU cooler
Zalman VGA fan
120mm Coolermaster Silent.

Should I be using the 120 as an intake or exhast? Any recommendations on that? So far so good but I have been getting heat related crashes before I picked up this up.. Im using an Antec Sonata case go my options of have multiple fans are limited :-/
