Well, I just counted and I realized, I have a shot load of fans on my comp.

I have:

7 case fans
1 processor fan
1 video card fan
1 Motherboard fan
2 PSU fans

Count yours up, I'm curious to see where I stand. And curious to see if I'm crazy for having so many.

Hmm...Let's see.
3 80's
1 120
1 92 (Cpu fan)
1 loud and annoying chipset fan. (I don't know the exact size
1 6600GT fan
= 7 fans.

I have 1x120mm fan for Watercooling
1x92mm intake
1x120mm fan for PSU

Thats 3....and actually the 92mm is out right now because I have the top of my x-qpack off.

My friend has 2 fans for his PSU (pcpowerandcooling loud)
9 case fans?...however many that huge box case has

1 for video, 1 for processor, chipset...the list goes on..I can't hear myself think when that thing is on.

Before I got my Antec Super Lanboy case, I had a total of 7 fans (plus two gaping holes in front where two 80mm fans would have been located) in my previous SX1035 case:

  • Two 80mm rear exhaust fans
  • Two 80mm fans inside my previous Antec SmartPower 2.0 500W PSU
  • One 60mm fan on the stock AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ cooler
  • One fan on my GeForce 7800GT GPU
  • One fan on the Northbridge of my mobo

Now, with the Super Lanboy case, I now have 6 fans - but noticeably quieter now than before:

  • One 120mm front intake fan w/blue light
  • One 120mm speed-controlled rear exhaust fan (Antec Tri-Cool currently set at medium)
  • One 120mm fan inside my current Antec TruePower 2.0 430W PSU
  • One 60mm fan on the stock AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ cooler
  • One fan on my GeForce 7800GT GPU
  • One fan on the Northbridge of my mobo

And of course, I did a minor (and easily reversible) mod to the front of my case:

I fitted a filter grille to the front of the intake fan.

9x 80mm case fans
3x 80mm PSU fans
2x 24mm? OTES fans

2x 12mm OTES Ramflow fans
1x 30mm SLiPstream VGA fan

and just for the fun of it ill include the 2 20cm fans my window fan blows into my comp.

2x psu
3x 80mm vantec stealth front/side intake
1x 92mm panaflo ultra high or whatever side intake
1x 120mm tri-cool high rear exhaust
1x stock amd hsf

i really only need 2 case fans as the other sits in front of expansion slots

2 92mm intake fans
1 120mm exhaust fan
2 processor fans (that one is fun to type :))
1 psu fan
fanless gpu

6 total. quiet, too.

Shuttle SN45G2 and only running 3 fans.

2x 80mm in a push/pull on the ICE (one hanging out the back of the case)
1x 40mm in the PSU

I replaced the northbridge heatsink with a passive one and use the onboard graphics so no GPU fan (it's a work/office machine.) I really need to mod the 40mm to a 60mm one of these days to quiet the system down.

What the hell? You mean to say you've got a bunch of marble sized fans in your case? 10, 12, 24, and 30mm fans - Hook me up! I was unaware any feasable fan was made under the 40mm size.

2x120mm fans - case airflow
1x120mm fan - watercooling
1x120mm fan - powersupply

5 x 80mm Case fans (2 green, 1 blue and 2 not lit)
1 x Stock PNY 6800 GT video card fan
1 x Zalman 7000B AlCu LED on my CPU
2 x PSU fans in my 430 Watt Enermax PSU

i dunno how big they are, but they are small, i just put a feasible (IMO) guess. My DVD\RW drive is one of the first ones to come out, and it has a teeny tiny fan in the back i can show yall a pic of it all if you want.
http://photo-hunter.net/939/DSCN1392.JPG (pic was taken b4 dvd drive was installed so if yuo want a pic of the fan ill give yuo one.)
if you look over the RAM you see the 2 small RAM flow fans, look over the Gfx Card youll see the SLiPstream fan. Thats an old pic though, ive since updated the setup a bit. And the 2 Otes fans are pretty damn small, check out pics of the Fata1ty AN8-SLI

1 in the true2 PSU
front yate-loon 120mm
PSU/HDD (lower chamber) yate-loon 120mm
yate-loon on the scythe ninja
all 3 yates on the a fanbus to keep the noise down to (in)audable levels.

8 fans total for me. working on keeping just two. need to save up them funds

oops + 1 for psu

1x 120mm case fan (front intake)
2x 80mm case fans (side intake, back exhaust)
2x 80mm PSU fans (both exhaust, of course)
1x Processor fan
1x Video card fan

7 fans altogether. :)

Let's see:

Main Rig:

1x120mm Delta exhaust
2x80mm in
1xPS 80mm
1xVid Card Fan
1xNB fan
1x92mm Tornado

Total of 7. Thank god I have a Rheobus cuz that Tornado w/ the Delta can be a pain when your'e trying to watch TV. Just helps me sleep though, iv'e gotta have something to sooth me to sleep. Like a hair dryer blowing :).

Second Rig/Fileserver:

2x80mm In
1x80mm Out
1x80mmPS out
1x80mm Side
1x80mm CPU Fan
