As I am looking for a high end OCing rig for gaming and other purposes, What is your openion on this configuration?

1) CPU: Core i7 3770K
2) Mobo: ASUS P8 Z77 Pro
3) GPU: GTX 670 or HD7970. But I want one with a NON-REFERENCE fan with Good overclocking potential. Because these cards with reference fan simply sux
4) RAM: 16 GB Dual Channel 1600-2166 MHz G-SKill Ripjoaw or Corsair Vengence
5) HDD: WD Cavier Black 1GB (I will buy an SSD once its price further declines)
6) Heat Sink: Corsair H80
8) PSU: Corsair A850 or H850
9) Case: Corsair Graphite Series or Coolar Master HAF-X
10) Display: Apple Cinema Display 27 or Dell U2713
 
What's are these"other purposes" you're talking about?

Also, please answer the stickied "ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS FIRST" so that we can help you better. Though off the bat, biggest problem with that build is the lack of a SSD considering the price-tag of that system.

A7 All. Onboard Video \ Integrated graphic is something which is an additional point. Its not a need. The only case I will use integrated graphic is if my GPU goes for a toss, I can use the Integrated graphic to test the rig

Q8 Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?

I will buy SSD after couple of months. Its not that I will wait for an year or so.

Unless you absolutely need a new PC right away I would rather wait until you can afford everything in one pop, in this case. This is because migrating an installed OS from a hard drive to an SSD is much more difficult and frustrating than migrating from one HDD to another HDD. And if a migration from an HDD to an SSD leaves the SSD far from optimally aligned, performance with an SSD will suffer severely. (Not only that, but an HFF-to-SSD migration requires software realignment of the SSD since the simpler migrations leave the partitions at the wrong starting sectors.)

Still doesn't make much sense: You have the budget right now to afford a decent sized SSD. Especially since you're reusing your PSU and case. For around $200, you can get the Crucial m4 256GB or the Samsung 830 256GB SSDs. That's easily doable with your budget and you'll avoid the potential issues that E4g1e mentioned.

In any case, if you want to save some money, please come back on September 3rd at the earliest and bump up this thread. By then we'll know what Newegg's combo deals will be and therefore help you save you money.

If you don't want us to save you money, some notes:
- Compare the P8Z77-V Pro and the P8Z77-V. Will you honestly be using all of the extra features of the Pro?
- If you plan on using more than 16GB of RAM, you will need at least Windows 7 Pro as Windows 7 Home Premium is limited to 16GB of RAM max. Also, if you plan on going all the way to 32GB of RAM, just get a 2 x 8GB set of RAM now.
- If you plan on replacing the case after all, which Corsair Graphite case are you going with? There's three Corsair cases belonging to that series. I don't recommend the HAF X at all since its quality doesn't match its price.
- If you plan on replacing the PSU after all, even for HD 7970 CFX and heavy duty overclocking, a 850W PSU is still a tad overkill. You'll still be fine with the Corsair HX750 or AX750 or Seasonic X-750 750W.
- Displays wise, have you checked out the Catleap/Korean monitors mentioned over in the Displays subforum? Also a decent article on those monitors:

I appreciate the help that you are providing in saving the money. Thanks for the suggestion on SSDs I will buy one of these 2 SSDs and I will buy 750W PSU from Corsair or seasonic. When I talk about replacing PSU I didn't mean using the PSU and case of my current rig mentioned in signature but if I plan to upgrade this upcoming Case then I will reuse the case and PSU.

Can you help me in resolving some more queries?

1) CPU Case: Since I have'nt seen too many good cases which are...
a) Good looking with glass door, good lightening inside. Overall a look and feel of a good gaming case
b) Should have good air flow mechanism to keep the overall circuit cool when I overclock heavily.
c) Should have good filters and good dust management system.
d) Should be spacious enough so that I can easily fit Corsair Hydro series heat sink.

So taking these factors into consideration I only know few cases example Antec 901, HAF-X, Corsair 650D , CM Storm etc. Don't know much about Corsair Carbide or Graphite series cases, therefore need your recommendation.

2) RAM: Is 1600MHz RAM fine or should I spend some extra bucks and buy 2166Mhz RAM. For me 16GB RAM will be sufficient, don't have any plan for 32GB which will always be an Overakilll. Offcourse I will go with good brands like Corsair Vengance or G-Skill Ripjaws.

3) Mobo: When it comes to Mobo I want a good stable mobo with OCing potential and room for X-Fire or SLI. I thought P8Z77-V Pro considered mid range compared to P8Z77-V Deleuxe. Having maximum USB 3.0 is a need. RAID and eSata, I never understood the full potential of these to functionalities, I never used it but if its there in the mobo, it is a plus point.

The Graphics series of cases are all good cases really.

1600 is the most you'll want. Don't waste money on faster RAM, it will just run at 1333 anyway.

The P8Z77-V has all of that.

The Corsair 600T and 650D are very solid cases. I don't recommend the Antec 900, HAF-X, or CM Storm. The Antec 900 and CM Storm are both cramped IMO compared to cases in that price range. The HAF X seems overpriced considering that there are either better quality cases for the same price or similar quality cases for less.

1600Mhz RAM is all that you need.

On board video/gpu is part of the CPU. All Z77 motherboards can take advantage of the onboard GPU of the CPU.

That's a fine case, as Danny said.
 
A 7970 Ghz edition is a standard 7970 that has been factory overclocked to improve the out-of-the-box performance. Since you're planning on overclocking the card yourself, then there is little reason to buy a factory overclocked GPU. I would say save some money and buy the standard 7970.
