meh, slow :(

at least i get a static ip and an AUP that allows servers :D

maybe some day hellsouth will allow ISP's to run different speeds besides 1500/256 on their RDSLAMs... meh, who am i kidding, that will be when cable is like 25000/8000 or something...

bellsouth = devil

5.0kb/s download and 2.5kb/s upload. My shit is fast.

i do!

my service is from DSLi, but its over bellsouth lines, on a RDSLAM from bellsouth...

and bellsouth is the devil... they dont allow any DSL lines faster than 1500/256 to be on their RDSLAMs, nor do they allow SDSL on their RDSLAMS :( :(

they wont even run a T1 out to me (ive asked) and its not like im a rural area, im in kendall (very populated mostly residential area in miami)

One-way cable sucks. I hate living out in the country.

if you live out in the country you should consider yourself lucky to have even that! :eek:

No, Comcast Pro. I pay $94/mo.

I wish Comcast was in my area, I would gladly pay $94 per month for that. Do you get any static addressing with that connection?

Nope. But I've had the same "dynamic" address forever.

Nothing special here, just plain residential DSL. My last speed test showed 1521/134.

I have been living in the sticks with DIALUP for the past 1.5 years and before that I was on RR with at least 1.5mb anyways....this is some shitting no name cable company that I HAVE to go with, unless i want bellsouth DSL.

I'm with Mediacom and I'm only getting about 1450ish down and about 230ish up. I got an e-mail saying they bumped our caps to 3000/256? I can see that the upload cap is higher, but I'm still below what the original download cap!
