How do I overclock an E6750?

I'm completely new to overclocking. How do I go overclocking my E6750? Should I just increase the FSB or do I have to adjust voltage or something? My mobo also has automatic voltage settings if you modify the FSB and stuff or should I do the voltage manually?

Any guides or anything for this CPU would be sweet.

Here's the Simple Guide to overclocking.

Set the FSB MHz to 400 MHz, lock the core voltage at 1.35 volts, avoid AUTO because it can add more voltage and heat than necessary.

Adjust your memory divider so your memory is running at 1:1 or 400 MHz or DDR2-800. Use 2.1 volts to 2.2 volts for memory.

With your 8x multi you should be running nice and stable at 3200 MHz. Next step is 3400 MHz so add 25 MHz to your FSB and away you go. It really is this simple. Run Orthos or Prime95 on both cores along the way to test for stability.

Your combo should be dead simple to overclock.

Set CPU Voltage to 1.35 multiplier to 400.

Set memory voltage to 2.0 since in newegg it says: Voltage 1.8V - 2.0V

All DDR2 is happy and safe with a minimum of 2.1 volts, whether it has Elpida or Micron chips on the modules. Your CPU is capable of 3600+ MHz but your memory will probably hold you back so give it a fighting chance with a little extra voltage.

When you are just doing some quick testing you don't have to run Prime95 for an hour. Even 5 minutes is plenty. SuperPi mod v1.5 is another good initial testing program that you can run for a few minutes. An 8M test is good enough.

Once you get errors then you can raise the CPU and or memory voltage a notch and test again to see if that helps. Use CoreTemp 0.95 to keep an eye on your cpu core temperatures. If a little additional voltage doesn't help stability then back off your overclock 100 MHz and run Prime95 for a couple of hours.
