I had this blue screen of death bother me for about a year. As I have a very limited budget and cannot go replace every piece in my computer I have to replace each piece one by one until I find the one that is causing this blue screen. I've replaced all my RAM, replaced the monitor, replaced the hard drive that the OS was on (XP 32bit home), added 4 small side fans... nothing. No fix. I've also changed the OS from the XP 32bit Home to a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, still same problems, or even more often I think. And no I did not overclock. One other problem that has been happening is my CPU giant fan went out 6 months ago, but even then I still had this problem when it was working.
My current specs are:
CPU: Intel Core 2 CPU 6600 @ 2.40GHz
RAM: 4096MB
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Motherboard: eVGA nforce 680i LGA 775
Sound Card: SB X-Fi Audio [8C00] - 92khz
Video Card: eVGA NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX - 768MB
OS Hard Drive: 7200 RPM Western Digitial
