that is my X2 6000 at idle for the average...everytime i play a game its mid 60's on that monitor...
i dont get any artifacts or crashing or anything....but it just shows its hot temp...

i touch the heatpipes and they are hot too.....

what would you all suggest i do next to see if my CPU is running really hot..or just a bad probe...

oh wow....
if that is correct....they are running at 29-30C .... at idle..

that is more like it haha

thanks for the help .... now im not as worried about my heatin issue now...

but i was lookin in bios...and its showing a temp thats about 15C hotter than core temps....which one should i trust more?

Bios probes are not known for accuracy whereas CoreTemp is reading from calibrated digital sensors located within the AMD64 or Intel Core chips.
I'd trust CoreTemp over a bios temp any day.

Here's my bios showing the cpu temperature is way colder than the mainboard it's running on and it's cooler than the room temperature as well which is impossible with an air cooled processor.
