Fell in love hard all over again for gaming from the POV I just want to play Black Ops 4 Black Out Non-stop getting no sleep. Been a long time since a game made me lose sleep.

Love the game.

Been wanting a quality 32" 144hz screen so started looking around. Apparently this monitor is $550 and $599 almost everywhere else.

Excellent build quality and performance. Comes with DP cable saving you a good $20.

This monitor absolutely does work with nVidia GPU's at 75, 100, 120 and 144hz. I've also read it will OC to 165hz as well.

My 2080 Ti is pushing Black Ops 4 @ 1440p Ultra settings very very nicely.

I am not sure the exact difference with between 144hz, Freesync and Gsync other than 144hz probably duplicates / drops a few frames here and there but who really cares at 144hz .. right? All I know is it syncs and the difference is night and day over 60hz.

Here is some additional information I dug up to help clarify 144hz / Gsync and FreeSync. They are all 3 basically great to have. Make sure you have the horsepower to push 144hz at any given resolution.

i bought this monitor a month or so ago and i'm impressed by it every time i play something, i have tried it with a 1050ti, 580 and 2070 and in all cases i've never saw nor been bothered by tearing or any type of ghosting...

it's a VA panel btw

I"m holding out for $550'ish G-sync + ips + 144hz. They are normally around $600....really want it for IPS & G-sync.

I'm 100% sure the ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q at MC was $599 with an additional -$50 via student email for the past 3 months lol It's back up to $599 though..

I haven't had a student email for 20 years...so doesn't really work for me :(
