Could someone recommend me a case that fits everything well yet keeps everything cool from NZXT or Aspire?

I really like how jazzed up their cases look and they are fairly cheap. However, I can't say if they will keep my components cool, particuarly since my Q6600 will be overclocked and I am aiming to get 4850 CF or 4870x2.
 
The Cooler Master 690 that's listed in your sig is of far better quality, cooling and ease of use than any Aspire case made. Not too sure about NZXT. None of them have shown up in my local Fry's so no hands on experience with them.
 
Hahaha I thought so... but they just looked so snazzy and lit up that if there was a moderately well ventilated one, I would get it.

But yeah I guess I will stick with the Cool Master if no one here has touched these cases (that's a bad sign).
 
I always got turned off by the plastic glossy gundam look. I'm not sure if any of them have decent ventilation, even if they did it's probably going to involve 18 LED fans. -_-

We'll see what real NZXT owners have to say.
 
Check out the new NZXT Guardian 9XX (not sure on number) its a really neat looking case with 3 x 120mm cooling...

I had the original gaurdian (which sucked for cooling, only 2 80mm fans). It seems they made leaps in cooling with the new one!

Aspire cases are really shitty quality. NZXT is supposed to be decent, but nothing spectacular. Definitely stick with the 690, or raise your budget a little bit and get a higher-end quality case. When it comes to the sub-$100 range, I don't really trust any manufacturers other than Coolermaster and Antec.
 
I had an Aspire X-Superalien case back in the day. Being only 14, I thought it was the coolest looking thing out there. Build quality was actually decent, it was essentially an Antec clone. I was even pretty crafty, and had it rigged up pretty cleanly with CCFL's and liquid cooling. I ran a 120MM intake fan in the hard drive cage (modded from stock, which was two 80mms), a dual 120mm radiator mounted in the top exhausting, and dual 80mm's in the back as exhaust...it did pretty well for airflow. I eventually grew out of it though, and currently run a Silverstone TJ-03, I like the classy look these days.

I am convinced with the price of 690. But if you compare it with Antec p180/82, is 690 that good in keeping the overall circuit cool? If it is then I might consider 690

I was bit disappointed with the price of p180 and p182

Da RocketFish/lian li from BestBuy is a really Nice Case..HUGH..but the quality is Lian Li at it's Best..lowest price 47.99 to 71.99..you'll have to check around but worth it for sure..

I've got an NZXT Hush case that I can comment on.

Packaging wasn't great, I needed to break out the superglue for a bit of a front-of-case bangup that happened in shipping (or deal with shipping it back and waiting). Overall it seems like a well-built case, it was just bumped in shipping and needed some cyanoacrylate love on one of the plastic bits holding the front on.

The Hush is a quiet case, so it's got acoustic foam inside. Probably not the case you want if you're worried about heat. I haven't had any problems with a stock-clocked e8400 and 8800gt in there, but I would be concerned if I was overclocking.

The 690 has excellent cooling. It's pretty much the best you can get for under $100 in that regard (next to the Coolermaster 590, that is).

Yes the 690 is that good. If I didn't love the look and the quietness of the P180 case and if the 690 was out when I buying my PC, I probably would've gone with the 690.

And keep an eye out for deals on the P180/P182. They can be had for cheap after rebates.
 
yeah fry's had p180 over the weekend for ~$60 after tax + shipping + rebate. great price, it's definitely worth more than this.

would stay away from aspire though. i've only heard of bad experiences with their cases (luckily i haven't had any of my own).
 
I love the look of the P180 and P182B, but they have a problem with long Video cards, you have to modify the HD cage to fit. The RocketFish case is HUGE, plenty of room, thinking of getting one and moving in. But for looks, love the antecs P180s, the nine and twelve hundreds look great too.
 
Another vote for P180 (agree with the long video cards). Sleek and quiet.
 
Antec 180 If you like having the feeling of taking out a couple beers when you look at it.
CM 690: built 2 systems using this case. Excellent cooling and design. Very noob friendly. I vote for this case.

Quoted for truth.

The 690 is definitely worth it, but if you can step up the budget a bit there are some very enticing cases in the ~$150 range. I bit further then $150 (or not if you catch a sale) nets you the Antec 1200...a 22" tall monolithic monster of a case. This thing is designed for watercooling and enthusiasts of all types. Comes with three 120mm fans in the front, two 120mm's in the back and a 200m fan as a top exhaust.

Check it out and see if it can be squeezed into a budget in the near future...I'm in the middle of a watercooled system build for somebody and the case is a dream to work with:

now, how about someone posting about their actual experience with nzxt or apevia cases, as the OP asked ?

I owned a QPack and switched to the LanboxLite because of space constraints, the vertical limit for video cards directly below the PSU in particular. The QPack was pretty flimsy overall, I wouldn t say it was hard to work with after several rebuilds...
but ultimately, I outgrew it. The NZXT Rogue picks up where the QPack left off and addresses many of its design flaws, and also might have just enough bling for your tastes:

Very interesting...the Rogue looks a little large for my tastes when it comes to SFF cases but I'll give 'em a look.

EDIT: No thanks...definitely not for me, the case itself not only looks bulky for a SFF system, but seeing this pic really makes it clear...the case isn't nearly as small as some SFF systems out there.

It's not huge, but seeing that guy holding it like that makes it look almost borderline to large to be convenient being so wide.

Just my thoughts.
