I was installing my Zalman ZM-NB47J northbridge cooler, which is a pain in the ass to install BTW, and when I applied my AS5 I noticed that it certainly was removing a lot of excess when I was spreading it out. I stuck the NB on, noticed that my pushpins STILL were not aligned right, so I pulled it off. Low and behold, 70% of the NB wasn't making contact with the chip!
These nForce2 chipsets must be concave as hell! I applied more AS5 right in the middle of the chip and let the Zalman spread it out so it would make contact, but geez, if I hadn't caught that..
Anyone else have a chipset this bad?
