Watch your rearview mirror.....i wont let you beat me to 3 million (unless ofc you get outside help....), shouldnt have let my gaurd up and let you pass me !!!

anyhow, ill be past you before you see me in your threat list (average has yet to catch up :D its a good 12k PPD short)

Sensing a little rumble on the horizon....who's bringing the chips? :D

what i cannot figure out is, how did he stay ahead of me (by 3k points all day) when i put up 11k more than him ?!!?!?

edit: its like he turned his farm on later in the day yesterday !

Whoops :)

I did turn on my desktop last night after work. Couldn't let you beat me to 3M. You'll probably pass me up today though if you maintain your output.

ya i know lol, well trying to dicide if its worth the downtime on my GPU's to get the Q9450 back up(OC is funky gets through a work unit and a half and it goes crazy), but dam my 260 is pulling moar D than the 9450 ever has ;D

guess i'm lucky i havent had many 6701's on my 1090T since i cranked it back on :D (*knock on wood*) guess i will fix the 9450 when i get back from the gym :D

your going to get a bit of a reprieve later.....i need to take my 1090T offline(folding wise) to get some CAD work done and some much important gaming :D

Hopefully the postman, my challenge from the other thread still stands but they have to work harder now - the 1st of my x5670's landed earlier today:D:cool:

Neck & neck now...and I think I only have one GPU unit dropping, so you may overtake me this update.

2 6701's :(
and one on an unstable machine to boot...gotta figure that out
...

luck is with you :( My Q9450 boxen (roughly half my production) is offline for a bit longer than i hoped, getting a stable OC going but GPU clients are being a bitch atm

Looks like you finally got me...that's what I get for shutting down my desktop. Probably keep the lead for the foreseeable future since I'm working a couple rebuilds.

Just hold on....I might have a bigadv system coming online in a little while...won't run 24/7 though

was about to post that :D

and dam you and your big adv

remember i ran w/o anything other than a 9800GTX for a few a weeks (for Christmas Challenge)

edit: jcarver, i'm coming for ya :D now that everything is folding again that is, cant keep up though(no big adv)

I'm installing a pile of turbocharged mowing gear in the next week, sleep tight you two....:D

you ok there hiodie ? you havent posted much today at all

yo! im still waiting for your v-tec to kick in, should be interesting :)

i'm waiting for him as well, he isnt on my threat list....unless he is under a different name there ?!?

no he uses the same name. I keep an eye on him since he keeps threatening with some sandys :)

Heh, its taken a little bit to get the new build online. I dropped of your threat lists due to a moment of weakness that saw me remove my 470 for an unlocked 6950. Fortunately I regained my insanity and picked up a second 470 along with my 2600k. We shall see how well the overclocked 2600k does with -7big adv smp ;)

R-Type, it looks like you might get a bit of a break, my 970 folders motherboard has kicked the bucket, i have to do some swapping about to get it going on a different one. meanwhile im not going to be running the new SR-2 (2x 5645 ES@3.5 so far) 24/7 till i see what it can do and am sure its not going to blow up during daily use, ill just be turning in the odd GPU WU (from your old card :)) for a bit.

its EVGA, if it blows up, get a new one :D

I've got the SB setup going in a spare case while I mod mine for watercooling and wait for my second 470 to come in before I plumb the loop. I thought I'd fire up the client and see what it does at stock but it pretty much instantly hit 80C with the intel cooler so I'll be holding off on that!

i liked your card so much i found 2 more of them for $250 on craigs :) dont worry only 2 of them will be folding most of the time + the gigabyte SE one, i like the quiet, so im putting one in my DAW to replace the crappy ATI i have in there.

Nice, you get them with the AC cooler as well?

@Filter
Caught me in a hurry. Nice mowing!

@SpeedyVV
What happened to you? Getting a little complacent in 2nd place?

And finally @ W.Feather
I have been battling trying to OC an 860 to try for bigadv. Finally figured out the IHS on the chip was terrible, absolutely terrible. Lapped it and it dropped my temps ~20C. Was maxed out around 1.20v, but I'm seeing if I can't get up closer to 1.35v now. Watch your back...

I'm still getting the fuel mixture honed in on my mower but its definitely making progress. I'm hoping to be at full chopping capacity by next weekend. :)

ill be watching :D though isnt that the i7 you cannot run 24/7 ?

Nice!

A lot of Big Adv love going around lately.

Just a quick question on the 860....I've read 3.8 is about the minimum for bigadv. Is that accurate? I still need to play with overclock, but I just wanted to know if there were some TOFs that would be sufficient to complete a bidadv on time.

No idea but you should be able to get that to 4ghz I would think...

Hiodie,
You shouldn't have any problems. If you are running 24/7 you would be good as low as 3.52 on a p2684 according to this chart.
