Hey guys, I have been fixing up my friends computer for the past few days, I put a new PSu and a 9800GT in it last night for them, but ive also been trying to get some nasty fake virus alert popups, and some regular old annoying popups (but the same ones over and over) off his computer (Already installed AVG 8, and found tons of Trojans, Adwares, Trackers, and a couple fake Virus alerts), and cant figure out what to do. So i downloaded Hijack this, and made of a log of all the things it reported. I thought maybe if I posted it on here you guys could look at the processes and tell me which ones I need to delete? If you guys need any other information let me know, but for now, here is the list.

I am still analyzing this more carefully, so I will report back with anything new.

I also find these to be quite suspicious, however they are NOT 100% confirmed threats. Fix these at your own riskHowever, If I were you, I would fix them.

SUPERAntispyware while on safe mode, dont forget to disable system restore before cleanning, enable once the system is clean :D

Anything else guys? His computer is slowly but surely getting better. Now all I think it really needs is a New CPU.

i would install Avira as well as malwarebyte's anti malware utility.

you re a saint for helping your friend (hope you are compensated for your time) but chances are they will go to the same sites, install the same garbage, and their computer will be full of trojans + loaders again.

Thanks, I know he realizes how hard im working and I told him I would do it free of charge anyways. I am trying to get it so when they do go to these sites and attract viruses that he has a better chance at deterring them.

I had the same prob not long ago and was advised to remove this
O22 - SharedTaskScheduler: achromatic - {61d70260-527c-44e8-bb23-2243e93808d3} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\gtckad.dll

After I did it went away.

http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1371943

I will delete that if I find it to, I ran SUPERAntiSpyware yesterday in safe mode, and I got a lot more stuff off it, including the annoying as hell "AntiVirus 2009" Bullshit virus program.

Here's the two that you've got:
O22 - SharedTaskScheduler: {874443fe-aa33-4ebf-a6ac-73208787e62d} - bestreak - (no file)

O22 - SharedTaskScheduler: STS - {EC43E3FD-5C60-46a6-97D7-E0B85DBDD6C4} - c:\windows\system32\babetafu.dll

Try reading the link I gave you. And read more than one test because occasionally AVG doesn't suck too much (uncommon).
