Due to some issues beyond my control I had to stop my little farm. I'm back on a part-time basis. I just put together the following: 680i board, E6400 @ 2.4ghz (300x8), 2gb ddr2 @ 850 (4-4-4-12 1T), GeForce 250 GTS @ 800/1200 and will be running it during the day/evening. Got a question...I have it currently running the GPU F@H only. Would it be best to just stick with that or add 1 to 2 instances of CPU F@H or add 1 SMP client?
 
Personally I would stick with what you've got going on now(gpu client only). You could fire up an instance of the vanilla unicore client but I would avoid the SMP now on a dual core as you'll likely be missing deadlines with some of the new A3 units that are being given out now. More knowledgeable people might have better input but what you're doing now looks fine to me.
 
Welcome back. Run the SMP if you can OC that CPU to at least 3ghz. If not I wouldn't bother.

Thanks everyone! I wish I could overclock this more, however, it won't post past 300 fsb...tried everything...even had to replace the bios chip after I corrupted it. :( its even setup for overclocking...everything except for the system memory is liquid cooled. I'll post pics when I get the chance.

That's weird since the 680i boards were generally pretty damn good about overclocking dual cores, just not quad cores.

Had some issues with the setup while I was away at a BBQ/Fireworks party yesterday. Might have been a little too aggressive with the overclocks on the card for F@H. I think I have everything resolved now. *crosses fingers*
