ok i think that i just killed my cpu on my amd rig only boot to where it say's asus screen to hit del to enter setup. so is it right to be thinking that cpu crap out or no
rig:
asus a8n-e
AMD Athlon 64 3200 clawhammer
seagate 7200 8mb sata
kingston 512mb
6600gt leadtek
xp home sp2

If the CPU is dead nothing would show and the system won't do anything.

Try clearing CMOS.

it's my parents system and it wouldn't boot today so they no ocing going on that's why i can't quite get what the hell happen, i'll try to clear cmos and see what happens

Ok the damn thing not working again any help would be great will not post i've cleared the cmos two time didn't work this time iv'e check all the parts that i can ram, hard drive psu i don't know a way i can check mobo or cpu any ideas

Are you changing your settings after you clear CMOS? (e.g. Overclocking)
