Grammar police, would you please make that first sentence readable?

Yeah, don't want to sound like a dick but you need to fix up your grammar when posting here on the forums. Some of us are too tired/lazy/old to try to decrypt whatever you're saying.

But I'm in a helpful mood so I'll help you out:

So guys, I have a problem. It seems that after I moved my PC, it would not start. I then took apart my PC and saw that the HSF was off. After I placed the HSF back on and booted it up, I had an error that said that my 'System 32" file was missing. So I booted up with my Windows CD....[/Grammar]

Now here's the part I'm confused on. By "My Computer" did you mean the icon on your Windows desktop or did you literally mean you hit your computer?

More info would be nice. Like steps you took to fix the problem, specs of the PC, etc. Anything and everything you think might be pertinent to your problem.

well I am sorry guys for my grammer im just trying to get my computer back up. Well the specs are in my signature so there you go and it is the actual computer not the icon.

Ok so when you hit your PC (Why?) the PC turns off?

Weird.

Could be that whenever you hit the PC, the door hits the power button? Make sure that all the cables and plugs are securely connected and not out of place. If that doesn't work, leave the door open for now until someone with a bit more experience with troubleshooting than I come along. And don't hit the PC!

Now about that missing system 32 file. Just do a repair install of XP. The repair install will just remove all the drivers while replacing any missing or corrupted system file. You won't lose any files (music, word docs, etc) but make sure that all your files have been backed up and that you have the drivers for your PC nearby

it sounds like a power short to me. I would look at all the power connectors and check the psu. Make sure the psu is plugged into the wall, but turned off when you touch the case so you properly ground yourself before you start checking everything.

thanks for your help you guys, i did a repair of windows like the man said seems to be working so far.
