1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
-Gaming: WoW, SWTOR, and when they release Diablo III, Guild Wars 2
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
-$500-$1000 Everything included. I would like something as cheap as possible that still gets the job done.
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
-Sacramento, CA
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word
CPU, Mobo, RAM, GPU, Power Supply, HDD or SSD, Case, Optical Drive, Monitor, OS, Keyboard, Mouse
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
-None. Brand new build
6) Will you be overclocking?
-Sure, but not a huge concern
7) 7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
-Would like a 22-24in monitor
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
ASAP
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? etc.
-No special needs
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If so, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
I might be able to reuse my Windows 7. Its a student edition.

This will be my first build and I'm throwing myself at the mercy of the community. I just need the computer for light gaming, school and photo/video editing. Whatever satisfies that for the lowest dollar amount is what I'm interested in.

No overclock capability at all btw. The remaining $80 should be enough to cover the mouse and keyboard.

I just bought SWTOR and my laptop wouldn't run it... So I went out and bought some parts and I'm very happy with out it runs SWTOR on max settings... and best part after rebates the I'll only have $425 in the system (minus monitor, keyboard and I had a hard drive setting around that I used)

Here is the tread with what I used:

Danny do you think you could post a recommendation for a $800 build with the same parameters that is ready to upgrade for the future and/or overclockable? I'm not sure which would be a better option for me.
