1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Mostly gaming, web browsing and school related stuff.
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$500 tax and shipping not included, but always a plus if it stays under
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
US, specifically hawaii
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
CPU, power supply, case, mobo, windows 7, gpu
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
Already have the hdd, cpu cooler, optical drive, and ram, display, keyboard and mouse.
6) Will you be overclocking?
No
7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
1920x1080
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
within the next two months
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? etc.
i would like sli/crossfire for sure but everything is not needed.
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
No i do not, i would like to run 64bit windows 7.

On the side note if at all possible including an SDD in your suggestions would be awesome for a boot drive. i was thinking about the 64gb crucial one. and i would prefer a mATX form factor when it comes to the mobo so i can save as much on space when it comes to the case. i was already thinking abou the factual design arc mini but if anyone has a better/cheaper suggestion im all ears. also it may be worth mentioning that my current gpu is an radeon 4850

Quite honestly, $500 is a pretty much impossible budget for 1920x1080 gaming, much less SLI/CFX, especially if you need to include an OS in there, which only leaves $400 for everything but the monitor. You'd be looking at most likely a very entry level AMD build with a 5670 or 6670 at most. For that budget, I'd suggest you either upgrade your existing computer, or wait until you have more capital.

Is your sig out of date or is this PC for somebody else?
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?

Our hardware recommendations tends to change monthly and sometimes weekly due to various deals and sales. As such, unless you want to be saddled with an old and out-dated list, please bump up this thread when you're 2-3 weeks away from buying the parts. That way you can get an up to date parts list

what i meant to say was i could hold off for the next two months for the build, but if i really wanted to i can order all parts today. just wondering if i should hold off just in case anything awesome worth waiting for will be coming out in the next two months or so that i dont know of.

Unfortunately while there will be new and awesome parts coming out in the next few months, your budget won't allow you to obtain the or make it worthwhile to wait for.

Forgot to ask: What RAM will you be reusing?
