Looking for a little help with a upcoming build. I have not built anything for about 5 years now - i7 920 was my last build. Thanks for any help!

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc

Photoshop - RAW files, Gaming (love to crank the settings to the max) and web browsing.

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?

$2000-3000

3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.

Western KY - No microcenter close but would be willing to drive to STL if it would save some money.

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget?

CPU & cooler
Motherboard
RAM - lots
GPU - really considering going SLi or Crossfire with this build
SSD - 256gb
HDD - 2x3TB?
PSU
Case
BR Drive - preferably slot drive

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing?

Speakers, Headphones, Keyboard & Mouse

6) Will you be overclocking?

Probably but was hoping I wouldn't need it right away.

7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?

2560x1080 - LG Ultrawide 29" 21.9

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?

March - April 2014

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)?
UEFI? etc.

I was hoping you could help me out here.

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?

Windows 8 - 64bit

I would wait until you're closer to that time frame. Anything we recommend will likely come down in price or be replaced with something better/newer by that time.

Pretty much what Priller said: Your best bet for a solid and up-to-date build list is to wait until you're 1-2 weeks away from buying the parts and then ask for advice.
