So, if you can't tell from the systems in my sig.... it's been a while since i've built a computer. I've been on a laptop for the past 5 years or so. Anyway, onto the questions:

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Mainly just gaming. SC2, LoL, Civ 5, possibly Cata if enough of my friends decide to play.
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
I'd like to stay under 750 with tax and shipping included. Maybe a little more.
3) Where do you live?

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
If you see anything in my signature that would be reusable, such as my case or my powersupply. Most of those harddrives i have are shot or are being used in external enclosures right now for back-ups.
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
If anything, the case and the powersupply i have might be reusable but i have no idea if they are compatible with current hardware.
6) Will you be overclocking?
I have in the past. I'd rather not.
7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?
I have a SyncMaster2494 that I'll be using.
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
Probably about 1-2 months from now. Late jan early feb.
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? etc.
Nothing specific.
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
I have windows 95 and a windows xp upgrade cd :(
If I were to buy a version of windows 7, which should i get?

Unfortunately you're asking too early: Whatever parts we recommend today may not be the same parts we recommend in late January and early February. In addition, the main reasons why our build lists tends to save a lot of money is due to us taking advantage of monthly Newegg combo deals. Unfortunately those deals terminate at the end of whatever month they were introduced. So even if we recommended parts in late January, those same parts may not be such a good buy in early February.

So if you want to make sure that you get the best deals and availability of hardware, I recommend asking for build help in the second week of January or the second week of February. Those will be your best times for asking for build help.

Oh and all you need is Windows 7 Home Premium. The average gamer, hell enthusiast as well, won't need anything more.
