hey whats up guys its been a while since i posted. Ive been a member for a long time.

Well, my old abit-kt7a died. I dont know if you guys remember that mobo but it was damn good. Now i need a new mobo, and ram. I cant spend that much maybe only around $200. I know thats hard to work with, but my old amd t-bird 1333 is still alive i hope i can still use that. sorry im not up to date w/ computers so i hope u guys can help me out for what to get. which mobo (w/ raid), ram, and probably a cpu?

Thanks guys

Mobo: DFI Infiny $93 @ newegg
RAM: This kit looks good, I would get ddr400 so if you decide to upgrade or OC you have the headroomRAM and you will take advantage of the nforce2 dual channel.

just my $0.02usd

I like the Asus A7N8X-X. It's the same as the A7N8X but just without the dual channel support, when isn't a big deal for AMD. It runs like $72 right now. Pair that with a 512mb of Crucial, Corsair, Kingston, ect.. (your preference, I like Kingston) and you have yourself set under $200, with $ to spare ($80 for 512mb PC3200 Mushkin). You have enough to spare to grab an Athlon XP 1800+ (you WILL see a decent performance increase on it too)
