Hello everyone.

I am going to use most of my old pc parts on the crashing motherboard and use those on the new pc. I was looking to spend about $400 on Ram, Motherboard and processor.

Currenly the processor I'm looking to get is a bit old, "Intel Pentium 4 - 3.4Ghz." which is about $95.

I need a good Motherboard and Overclockable ram.

I want the ram to be ddr2 and a good overclockable Motherboard.

Any help would be great.

Sorry, I believe I posted this under Intel.

I suppose I'd get a cheap 965 board (Biostar 965PT is around $100). 2x1GB Cas 4 DDR2 800 memory ($180). And then get a 805 or 915 Pentium D until you can afford a C2D CPU. Ideally, you'd just grab a E6300 or E4300 and forget the Pentium D step altogether. Probably run you around $450-475 instead, but I think it'd be worth it.
