ive got a budget of about 140, and wanted to see what you guys would recommend.

its gonna power my i7 with classified and just a couple of regular single core cards no crazy quad sli business or anything, i will get the corsair 1kw when that time comes.

i was thinking of getting a corsair 620hx for now as its 99 AR at ZZF right now but id rather have a bit more headroom was wondering if theres any deals out there right now i should jump on instead ?

I recommend these PSUs:
$80 - BFG Tech LS-550 550W PSU
$100 - Corsair 650TX 650W PSU
$120 - PC Power & Cooling S75CF 750W PSU
$120 - Corsair 750TX 750W PSU
$145 - Corsair 850TX 850W PSU

@ fromoeo: if im going non modular id want somethign a bit more powerful than those, theres a 750w silencer for 120 with a rebate which doesnt look too bad. im looking at that or another corsair ( for about the 6th time lol )

edit: nice one danny will go through them tonight

are the antec quattro's any good ? would be nice to have a modular 850w, or should i just forget about antec and stick with corsair.

They're decent PSUs. But I recommend sticking with Corsair.

yeah.... i think i want the hx620 because its modular and will handle pretty much any single card dual gpu or not.... then i'll upgrade to the 1000 when i can afford to fill up this beast of a mobo.

thanks danny, you always come to the rescue lol
