I have a delidded 4770k on water, the temps are fine at high voltage. at 1.42 I get 75C max on hottest core.
I am having trouble getting stable, and I think its my settings over capability. My mobo is the asus formula 1150.
My settings are:
Sync all cores=47
Internal PLL Auto
EPU Disabled
CPU Strap Auto
Dram voltage 1.65
Voltage Manual(cant seem to get offset to work) 1.38V.
CPU Cache min and max =auto
Cpu cache voltage=1.28
IO offset voltage =+.20
CPU Spread spectrum disabled
EIST=Enabled
Turbo=Enabled
C-States enabled.
Now I think the stability issue is caused by cstates. What I want is the CPU and voltage to downclock when idle. But I also want to get stable.
Can someone help me accomplish this? I have all latest drivers and BIOS and am using OCCT and X264 to try stability. I am not worried about temps, I got good delid and 2 480s and 1 360 radiators. OCCT With AVX I got 7 mins before it crashed, x264 seemed to crash sooner.
Sometimes I even crash on boot with WHEA Clock watchdog error, or stalls in the win 8 tiles.
Thanks
