Help, outlook will not work.

Cannot Start Microsoft Outlook. MAPI32.DLL is corrupt or the wrong version. This could have been caused by installing the other messaging software. Please reinstall outlook.


I have reinstalled outlook, no avail, i hit fix mapi as ms's knowledge base recommends.

I am stuck and i do not want to reformat my hdd, it will take hours and days i don't have.

Am i missing something in the registry?

Outlook 98, 2000, 2002 or 2003?

Did you install, uninstall some other MS Office application on the PC?

Try uninstalling it first and then reinstall.
