A co-worker who lives about 1 mile away from work is looking at the directional antenna listed at http://www.wifi-link.com/product.ph...id=1&class2_id=56&class3_id=162&product_id=21

The disagreement we are having regarding this piece of hardware, the question we need resolved is this:
Will a long range directional antenna such as this be able to receive a Wi-Fi signal from a laptop Wi-Fi card as well as transmit to it, or is it capable of only transmitting at long range without a similar long range transmitter at the other end sending back? :confused:
