i am looking for the best prossecer and hard drive for video editing...
this is for a desktop
my budget is 450.... can someone tell me where and what i should get..

i am not sure but the hard drive and prosecer are included in 450, if u can fit a new mother board in the 450 thats great but if not idc.

You are not sure of what exactly? The parts you already own? If all you plan on doing is upgrading a HD and CPU you need to tell us what other hardware you have so we can recommend the right parts. It wouldn't make much sense to tell you to run out and buy a Q6600 when you have a AM2 based motherboard.

So if you can, please answer Danny's first 2 questions to the best of your knowledge.

All my prices are at newegg. Not always the cheapest but I like my stuff to show up in one box.

Just out of curiosity where are you seeing double for an intel rig. The Intel Rig I listed is only 30 bucks more. Feel free to correct me if I'm missing the obvious.

You're better off buying the Intel build. OCed, it'll be faster than pretty much anything AMD currently offers, and it'll be much more upgradable. You can throw a Q6600 or one of the upcoming 45nm quads in it in 6 months to a year and it'll still be fast. The AMD won't be upgradeable again.
