I been asking for build help alot on here (4 or 5 times). So heres another.
I want to consolidate 2 computers into one. I'm Converting back to rackmounted servers again.

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Server

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
I dont know just give me the best options thats good for the money, I want to spend less money because im always doing this.

3) Where do you live?
Miami

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
CPU, RAM (MAX 16GBS), CASE, SATA CONTROLLER (MAX UP TO 10-12 HDDS), AND HARDDRIVES

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
ASUS M4A79XTD EVO, CMPSU-650TX, 2X SUPERMICRO 5IN3'S,

6) Will you be overclocking?
NO

7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?
NONE, HEADLESS

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
ANYTIME HOPEFULLY THERES DEALS

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support?
USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video? etc.
REUSING MOTHERBOARD

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
ESXI OR HYPER-V WHICH EVER PLAYS NICE.

If I go the ESXI route I will need Intel NICs.

My current setup is Freenas as my storage server and another as my Hyper-V Server.
I want to use this case here but if theres another one cheaper let me know
I think I seem this type of case around the airport before so I will check that out to see how much it is.

This doesn't help us at all. There are a fuck-ton of different server types man. File, Domain, mail, etc. Please be more specific as what exactly you plan on doing with this server. And what you want to accomplish exactly.

EDIT: Also please don't post in all caps again as stated by Rule #9 of Hardforum rules:

i think they are asking for a general list of needs in terms of server functions. i.e. running a virtual domain controller will require different hardware than a virtual database server or virtual web server or etc....

in order for these nice people to help, they need to know what they are helping

this is for home usage. I currently have a virtual webserver running and i don't think i need a domain but i can use the experienced of setting one up among other things.
I just need a basic setup and I will addon to it if needed

Okay, as mentioned, a "basic setup" will vary greatly from person to person, and from task to task. A basic web server and a basic database server, etc. have different needs.

- How many VMs do you plan on running?
- What types of VMs (just throw a few ideas, if you wanna use ESXi/HyperV you obviously have a few ideas)

for now i have WHSv1, a webserver, and a Seedbox like thing, under Hyper-V and there taking up 5GBs of ram total. I would like to study server like task so i can get a job in the field. This is so I dont have to run to many computers for different things. Note: WHSv1 is only for desktop backups not storage. when I mean basic i mean whats the min. hardware would be. I know RAM is a main issue and CPU not so much. If I had to get a server Motherboard which CPU would be a better for budget build.

I'm not so sociable so me explaining what I want is a pain on me. :(

that case is horrible!

Supermicro case or norco..

why do you need 10-12 hdd's ?

is this going to be a storage server or a vm server ?
