Help me troubleshoot this problem

Computer Specs:
Phenom 2 X2 @ 3.8GHz
Asus M478TD-EVO Mainboard
8gb 4x2g DDR3 1600 Ram (Gskill and SuperTalent) @ 7-7-7-20 2T
XFX Radeon H5850 @ stock speeds
WD Raptor 74gb (newest edition)
2tb WD Green
OCZ 700W Power Supply
Windows 7 Ultimate x64

Problem:
Random Lockups while under some stress (WoW + Skype Video conversation mainly)

Tests Done:
Memtest Overnight Without Errors (under the OC and without it)
Intel Burn Test with no errors (under OC and w/o)
WD Drive Fitness on Both HDDs show no problem.

Further Comments:
The problems started after the WD Raptor was installed but, as noted, WD tests show no problems on either drive.
The main problem comes from WoW + Skype video call (as noted) and at random times as well. The lockup is also generally accompanied by a shrieking sound from the onboard VIA card as well.
On other games such as Fear or Crysis, the problem does not occur.

Which OCZ 700W PSU do you have?

Try temporarily running your OS off whatever drive you were using before to absolutely rule out the Raptor being an issue.

But so far, sounds like a mobo issue.

you know what is funny is that I used that same board just recently and I had a horrible time with it. I ended up getting a different brand board in general and didnt have any issues. Its common for a board to have problems & sometimes DOA I could of just exchanged it for the same board but I didnt.

My problems are pretty similar to yours but I didnt have a shrieking sound at all: Whenever I played a video game or just watch a simple youtube video; the computer just crashed & locked up.
