My aunt have asked me to help her configure her network at her work, she has a small business. She was gonna hire a "professional" to do this work, but i convinced her that i could do the job, with only one condition: that she allows me to borg her PCs 
and she agreed. I'll be working "pro bono" or should i say "pro folding"
Currently she has 14 PC, between P4 3GHz and C2D E4500, so it's not too shabby.
The current network configuration is as follows.
two "independant" workgroups, but i could see that the workgroups can connect themselfs using the Internet Modem, something that i don't want to happen, so one of reasons of this reconfiguration is to have more security and flexibility, getting rid of that awful Workgroup configuration and start using a Domain configuration. A server is obviously needed, it has to have a Windows OS, i can't use Linux, nobody there knows how to use Linux, so i was thinking in using Windows Server 2003 or 2008. It'll be the first time that i use either of those Server OS, so i'm practically a newbie in installing Windows Server, let alone configure it properly.
Now the tricky part, if i want to borg all the PCs i would have to give them Internet access, but as you can see in the above diagram, only 4 PCs will have Internet access, and even those PCs are gonna have restriccions like not having access to Youtube or Facebook for example.
The networking idea is to have pretty much the same configuration, but with more security, for example: the machines in Workgroup 1 have to be able to share files between each other, same with Workgroup 2, and occasionally a file transfer between workgroups, I also have to connect all 9 the PCs in Workgroup 2, the router has only 8 ports.
So apparently all the PCs have to have internet access for the folding stuff, so how could this be done? and could this be done with only one server? Are there good tutorials in how to setup a domain server? What do i need to buy?
