hey guys I have an BFG 8800 gts 640 mb OC. Its at 550mhz and 1800mhz now but I see many people with over 650 and close to 2000mhz with this card.

Which program would you recommend and how do I use it? A buddy of mine used nTune and raves about it, but I have heard mixed reviews. I have alos heard good things about rivatuner.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Those are the big two for Nvida cards. All I can say is try them both as see which one YOU like better. If you drop a post down in the Nvidia sub-forum of the Video Cards main forum someone may know of a better one. Or PM a mod and just have him move this post. They do not mind. Some vid card talk here but 98% motherboards.

I have been using Expert Tool or something. It works pretty well. I don't like NTUNE because it REFUSES TO SAVE MY SETTINGS and it's extremely frustrating (could you tell?). The settings I use in Ntune are only good for that session of windows. Reboot and they're gone. Anyway, I use Expertool to set the clocks and use ATI Tool to scan for artifacts while running Crysis or something else at the same time. RivaTuner is also good.

well my final oc with ATITool on a Zalman CNPS 8000 air cooler is,
670 mhz memory clock and 1950 mhz core clock.

Thnx for all your input!

ati tools not bad but riva tuner will give you everything you can possibly get. You could probibly squeeze more out of that memory. Use the fuzzy cube to stress it tho, that thing really lays the beat down on any graphics card.

i need some help, I loaded atitool and loaded the oc profile. Then ran 3dmark06, and while it was scanning my system i got a bsod reboot?

Any ideas??
