I have been looking through the Router sticky trying to find a new router because of the disconnect errors I have been getting with the PSN. It may be Sony's problem but if a new router works, well it works. The error is I am playing for a few minutes, maybe 10-15 tops, then I lose connection to the Playstation Network. I can sign back on in immediately, download speeds are fine. Here is the troubleshooting thread if you want to take a look.

The error code is 8002ad23. I want the networking specialists to help diagnose the TYPE of problem so I understand what networking issue is occuring better. The gamers might know of a solution, from what I gather, Sony nor Linksys doens't.
But in any case I am using an old Linksys BES41 v2 wired router. The speed is fine, configuring the thing is annoying and maybe it is time for a new one. I have already run ethernet cables so it doesn't have to be wireless...I am a little stubborn in my willingness to convert...it just seems to me like I am going to pay more money for less speed. Tell me I am wrong. (And driveby hackers can find me! )
So, help me choose a new router, or help me fix this problem....
EDIT - The firmware was updated two years ago. It is probably okay now, because the newest drivers were made in 2004! (Unless resetting deletes firmware, I'll check that out and see)
