Ok so been out of the game for about 3-4 years give or take, in other words im just catching up with all the new hardware and stuff and basically learning again the little i knew before lol with that being said i installed a couple of new optical drives in my rig everything was fine till i noticed my power/hdd Leds werent coming on my Alienware case (no i didnt buy an Alienware just the case for $40), i opened it back up everything was plugged in properly but leds still didnt work so i was messing with the ac97 and hd audio connections on the mobo i was switching the HD audio connector to the ac97 connector, i basically yanked it out and on bottom left hand corner of the mobo a base screw was there but not the one that holds the mobo so as i yanked the mobo pulled back with the connection came loose and the mobo snapped back into place after that i closed back up turned my PSU back on, started my computer and Nothing... eveything powers up but no video switched video cards and still nothing. a friend said i might have fried mobo or cpu just coming here to ask community for help or to verify if i indeed fried mobo and/or cpu.
Thanks in advance,
