Help: H97i INtel Chipset Drivers

Anyone have any ideas, I just got an H97i / 4690k setup, when I install the intel chipset driver I lose all USB function - because of t his I naturally can't go into device manager or anything like that

front ports/back ports all out - safemode doesn't work either.

I've reinstalled windows about 5 or 6 times now and its just not working

We'll this moboard is just kicking my butt. And drivers cause the desktop to not load on windows 7.

All this only with an ssd. With my 80gb spinning srive it works ok

Ok got this one working. Had to install the windows 7 drivers in a specific order.

Achi/raid first
Then chipset. Then the rest

If I did chipset before Achi it always borks the install

That's a bit odd. I have had issues if I do RST --> Chipset. I always install Chipset --> RST.

INF chipset drivers will install automatically with 7/8 and RST will as well if set to raid.[not sure about ACHI]
Run the RST package which will update them if need be and also give you the console.
USB can be installed later
RST needs net framwork 4.5, that should install though when installing windows.
