Hi, I currently have a Dell 2005fpw and am looking to upgrade to a 24 or 26 inch lcd. I would like to get something that has a glossy screen. I do some gaming (BioShock, HL2, Command and Conquer 3) and movie watching on my computer. I have been considering the Gateway FHD2400 and the HP w2408h on the 24 inch end, and I'm not sure which 26 inch lcds I should consider. Any suggestions on which would be better? Thanks!

I was trying to keep USB ports on the monitor ala the Dell I currently have. Any other suggestions?

I would echo Biges' suggestion to have a look at the HP W2408H.

It is widely available at retail stores and has a good, height adjustable and pivoting stand, as well as USB ports. It is a wide gamut, glossy panel, so you should definitely be prepared for highly saturated and vivid colors.

It also has good aspect ratio scaling features and is generally a high quality display. Keep in mind, the viewing angles will pale in comparison to your Dell 2005FPW, but it shouldn't be a huge problem unless you want to do color sensitive photo editing.

You may also want to look into extending the warranty, as it is only 1 year, as is the FHD2400 as far as I now.

Regards,
