The X650, because of the ones you've listed, it's the least overkill.

The X-750 because it fits that 7 theme you have going on (3770K, Sabertooth Z77, GTX 670)

Nah in all seriousness, you'll be fine with the X-650.

may want to look at the efficiency ratings based on power draw for each as well. if the 650 gives you an efficiency of 78% at your watt draw and the 750 gives you 82%, you'd be better off spending the extra few bucks and getting the more efficient "for you" psu. it'll save you money in the long run.

That barely made any sense at all. And obviously you didn't even bother to figure out what power supplies the OP is talking about.

i read the post, i'm just saying that he should look at what the efficiency ratings are for each psu at the wattage his spec rig is gonna draw. the 750 or 850 may be overkill for his rig, but if either one has a higher efficency at his wattage it's gonna save him on electricity.

Stop while you're ahead. You obviously don't know anything about power supplies, I suggest you educate yourself before posting anymore misguided advice. You're just making yourself look like a fool.

All Seasonic X series PSUs are 80+ gold, and have similar efficiency.

I also suggest you read why 80+ is irrelevant when buying a power supply.

Actually, that improvement is so small that it would take the OP several years, if not decades, for those pricier PSUs to pay for themselves through electricity savings. Besides, a higher-efficiency PSU is no bargain if it costs significantly more to purchase than a similar quality PSU with slightly lower efficiency.

If you're willing to spend that much on a power supply I would look at silence(fanless) and lower wattage power supplies. The x650 will run that system with ease.

If I recall, the X series power supplies have active feedback cooling. So even if it has a fan, it won't spin unless the heat generation becomes high enough.

I just got the X-850 on that newegg deal. It is the new 2012 edition and is really nice, stable, quiet and the cable management is great. I would say go for the 850 - fantastic price.

With these new 2012 editions, there is a switch for the fan mode. Normal will run the fan at low even on low temps. Hybrid will shut the fan off below 25c.

i'd get the X-850 just because w/ the rebate it is the same price as the X-650

meh I wanted a modular psu awhile ago and I got the X-750 on sale for $99 which was a lot less expensive than the X-650 was at the time... an X-650 is probably overkill for my rig even..but F*** it.. I am loving my X-750 it is a really nice easy to work with PSU and finally having a modular PSU is great from a cable management standpoint.

At the time OP made his post, the X-650 was $90, the X-750 was $100, and the X-850 was $140 AR.
