Yes I know I'm doing another one of these, I'm just a person that wants the best thing I can get for the range, so I can keep pushing it back and pushing it back till I find the right one.

I'm torn between a few cases and I would like your opinions on some of them. And yes, I am looking for great price to performance/features ratios as well. Here's the list of cases that I've been looking at:

Corsair 400R
Corsair 500R
Corsair 650D
Cooler Master Storm Trooper
Antec P280

And just letting you know, for some of the cases that don't have the USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 adapter that the 400R/500R has, I got one from a friend, so that is no issue.

Also, currently, I'm leaning towards the Trooper, unless someone can convince me for something else.

Thanks in advance.

Well, it's probably out of your price range but I feel obliged to mention the Silverstone ft02. Nothing else can cool components on Air like it can and it's air filters make sure that dust isn't going to be a prob for headsinks. I have to admit it's not the easiest to build with, corsair cases seem to be, but nothing else performs like it. Also worth mentioning it's an aircooling case. Not very good for water.

In any case, I'd been considering the 600T and Storm Sniper before the ft02. If the 650D had been out then I might have gotten that instead of the ft02 to save a few bucks. In hindsight though I can't say I regret purchasing the ft02. It's really something. Been running F@H overnight as part of the [H]orde again and HWM say's the max temp for my evga gtx 570 superclocked was 73C and the room was quite warm in the morning.

The FT02 is definitely out of range. The thing about the Sniper is that it doesn't have USB 3.0 and the CPU hole on the back plate is pretty small (would love a huge one).

Ehhh. It is nice and the price, especially from MWave is damn good for being all aluminum. But weight isn't something I'm worried about. Also, I would rather get it from Newegg than anywhere else, but I know that's a bit of a bias.

How about Fractal Design? If you are looking for a case that is more "showy" that you would take to a LAN party don't get one of these but if you want a clean looking case that is more sophisticated, Fractal Design makes several nice ones. Fractal Design Define XL and Arc Midi, and Define R3 are three good ones. I am considering upgrading from my 4 year old LAN party case, Antec 900 (v1), to one of those as I no longer going to LAN parties and the case is starting to show its age.

I owned the smaller version of the last LIan Li cases met listed with a TT Frio Cooler and some noctua fans it kept a 2600k overclocked to 5.1ghz at 29-31c at idle. I was impressed with the fit and finish as well (plus you get a top mounted esata and 2 usb 3.0 ports). That gets my vote (or the fractal)

Thanks for all the ideas, but for some reason, I've never been one to really go for a Lian Li. Also, if I were to get something around as heavy or more so than the Storm Trooper, I wish they would have a handle. The Define XL is nice, but holy hell is it heavy.

At least if someone breaks into your house you don't have to worry about someone walking out with your computer if you get the Define XL lol. All you need is a key to lock the side panel and it is a safe :p.

The thing is, I'm not paying for these, I'm asking one for Christmas/B-day and I'd really like the right one. I think the reason I'm really going for the Trooper is because of not only the size for basically anything, but the overall air moving ability (hopefully getting 4 120MMs to put with it as well), the ability to customize it, the cable management, and also can hold a TON of hard drives. Even though I really do like the P280, I've kind of had enough of swinging doors lol.

So if I were to go for the ones I suggested, possibly added the Fractal Arc Midi or the Antec Eleven Hundred, which one would easily be the best?

Antec or the 650d if those are the only options you are considering.

The Fractal Arc cases are sick too

When you said customize, my ears perked up and I thought maybe you would be interested in the Antec Lanboy Air. But the wire management is lacking in the case as it is completely mesh and customizeable it leaves little room to hide cables. However if you want to check it out here:

also these are good:

Not sure if I linked these before:

These might be out of your range but I have a number of friends with this case in all sorts of different configurations:

http://www.lian-li.com/v2/en/product/product06.php?pr_index=555&cl_index=1&sc_index=25&ss_index=62

Still the Corsairs are pretty customizeable as well.

You will be disappointed with the antec cases build quality, go with what you want, the fractal is what I would pick (but the storm scout is a proven good air cooling case)
