HEC ( Compucase )!

HEC has been around since the early 2000s. I still have a crappy 350w PSU from 2001 that came in a case they made.

HEC has been around for a while, they usually just make psu's but now they make budget cases (lots of newegg).

+1 to eastwood, they do look like a combination of CM and antec lol

I've used the mATX cases. For what they are and for what they cost, it isn't too bad of a case.

What other companies do you know in same range of quality and price as HEC ?

Thanks! Yes, Coolermaster is a good company but if HEC can be compared with Coolermaster at all?

I can't quite put my finger on it but something about their range reminds me of cases made by Antec and other manufacturers.

MY old yy cube came with a compucase hec 300w psu....
Ahh, they make winpower psus... Ive got one of them in the current pc too, not bad for the price tbh.

Ive been trying to figure out who made a case that I saw. Now I know!

I lied about the winpower psu.. theyre awful..
It died the beginning of last week, came home and the pc was off, so took it back, got the 850w modular version, plugged it in and nothing.. So I pondered for about 5 mins when I took it back, now have a corsair tx650 instead, gone from really cheap to quiet expensive.. Noticeably quieter though.

HEC has been around for a while, and newegg sells there cases quite regularly.

I picked up a HEC 98 and really like it, especially because I can put a 4 way Classified board into. The only thing that I don't like about it, is that the chassis unless modified has two big limitations: (a) No place for a second PSU, and (b) If you want an internally mounted 3*120 radiator and fan setup you're going to have to cut and modify the top of the case.

Its a fine case for any build that only requires 1 PSU, watercooling if you only want 1 loop with a single rad.
