I recently got a good deal on some Steelseries Siberia v2's. They are the PS3 version of them so they have a short 3.5mm cord that plugs into a usb connector for PC use. The only problem I have with them is that the connected 3.5mm cord is only about a foot and a half long. I don't like the usb connector and would like to make use of my Asus Xonar Dg card so I just bought a few 3.5mm extension cords to use. The only issue is that they aren't color coded (making it a crapshoot as to whether im going to fix up the cables) every time I plug them in. To add to this, the cables are really really heavy for some reason and make the headset uncomfortable to use. I have been putting the cord on my desk to get rid of some of the weight, but sometimes when it slides off my desk it will actually jerk my head to the left from the weight.

I have looked for some other cords but would like a single cord solution if I can find it. The closest I have come is this knock off, but they on longer stock them. I've looked all over for a cable that has the mic and earphone cables connected but I cant find them anywhere. Even if I could find 2 separate cords that are lightweight, that would work out well. Any suggestions?
 
So nobody knows about a single cable solution? Like 2 thin cables bound together? I'm not looking for a quarter inch of insulation on each one. I don't want coax cables hanging from my headphones.
 
Monoprice might have a dual 3.5mm cable... Hell I might have one from all those old Cambridge PC speakers I used to have, shouldn't be hard to find. If the cable plugs in directly into your headset and you just like the weight/plug of whatever it came with, why not simply extend it with some of the previously linked cables? Just tape a piece of paper at the end on one of the two cables, color coded conundrum solved.
