HDMI audio?

I'm trying to hook up my TV and PC Monitor to my computer so that I can watch a movie on the TV with the audio going thru the TV and at the same time play a game on my PC Monitor with sound for that going thru my M-Audio speakers which are hooked into my PC Monitor right now.
I have a MSI 560TI Twin Frozr which has 1 mini-hdmi port and 2 DVI Ports. Is this at all possible?
 
No, only one audio device can function at one time as far as I know.
 
He can use 2 audio devices at the same time but you have to tell the software that is running the movie to use the specific device. IE if you are using Power DVD you can tell it to output audio over the HDMI and windows will continue to pipe audio over the regular speakers. Do it with my laptop so that the windows sounds do not come over the on the movie side if the computer pops up a mesage...

you will have to enable MB audio or install a second card.

In my case I am using HDMI out on the ATI 4570 for movie playback and intergrated audio for everything else
 
the 560ti should have a sound card built in which shows up as nVidia HDMI device.
you want to set this as the output device on your video player.

Side Note: Anyone got a good method to get a broken 3.5mm plug outta my front panel 3.5mm jack? None of it is sticking out so i can like grab it at all.
 
This is what I did:

power off my system.

Unplugged my system.

I took a paper clip and bent one end of it to an L-shape.

I took wire cutters or tin snips and cut off all but the tiniest bit on the end. Then I stuck it into the jack and pulled it out. Dont pull hard and you wont scrape anything.

I had a stubborn one once. I took a drill with the smallest bit I could find and bored it down a few millimeters, then used a light application of gorilla glue on a toothpick and shoved that in the hole that I made, waited a few hours and pulled it right out.

On Win7 I have to set the specific device output by using the system tray speaker icon. I thought that overrode all app settings but I guess not and stand corrected.
 
Thanks for all the help guys, Ill try your methods for removing the broken jack on the weekend when I have some free time. Thanks again!
