Hello, i am looking to upgrade my HDD to SSD, since i already have a dedicated system for storage, download etc, this is just for OS, fewer apps and WoW :)(), so no problems with lower space of these.

Which one to take?

Intel X25-M 80GB 226€

Corsair Force F120 SSD 120GB 325€

OCZ Vertex 2 SATA II 2.5" SSD 100GB 351€

Judging from prices and as i dont really need more than 80gb, intel may be the choise, but i read that write speeds are not that good...

What do you think about other two? ~100€ more is worth it?

Write speeds is only 70Mb/s with the Intel but it does have better random read/write speeds IIRC. So that still makes it a very very solid choice for the money.

Well, at those prices, and since it is big enough for your needs, I would go with the Intel. I have used Intel and OCZ drives of the same vintage, last years models, and find the Intel drives to feel as fast or faster. Don't worry about the write speed so much as you are mostly going to read from a drive.

One thing to consider though, storage needs only get bigger. If you save 100 euros this year on the drive, and find it to be too small next year, you may have to shell out even more cash than you are saving now.

Any of those 3 drives will be a HUGE improvement over a magnetic disk. And differences between the 3 would not be very noticable in daily use.

So, if money is not a huge factor, I would go with the F120. If money is the overriding concern, the Intel will work just fine. If you are a Benchmark junkie, read the reviews and go with the fastest one, prolly the OCZ.
