HDD recommendations?

[Dim8400]

What is the best or at least best bang for $150 as far as a HDD goes. Friend needs it for storage, he has a SSD for his OS. His budget is around $150 and he is requesting a min of 2tb for space. His SSD is 120GB and running out fast. I am not sure which HDD are at the top recently as far as performance goes.
Appreciate all the help! Thanks!

Here's a seagate 3TB for $160 otherwise any 2TB will do.

We use Western Digital green 2TB drives and haven't had any issues with them at all so far. I'm happily buying more as we need them.
