I'm looking to piece together a somewhat new computer to suit the holidays, and already have a number of parts. Things broke, so I have to replace them - what better time?

PSU: Corsair 850tx
Case: Canyon 595
SSD/HDD: Taken care of, but willing to consider options that are good deals since they're aging
GPU: GTX580 (hoping to not buy a new card yet, unless the value for benefit is too good to be ignored!)

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming, for the most part.

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
Anywhere from $500-$1000, depending on what parts are included

3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
United States (Milwaukee, WI)

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
Motherboard, CPU, RAM definite. SSD, HDD, GPU optional.

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
Monitor, case, PSU (corsair 850tx), GPU/SSD/HDD (would keep unless a good deal is out there)

6) Will you be overclocking?
No

7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
24", 1920x1080

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
Soon as possible!

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc.
Nothing too special, for the most part.

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
Yep, Windows 7 64bit.

You should have asked for this 3 or 4 days ago. Black Friday deals would have saved you a ton.

What's the reason behind this? Seems like an overkill for this system.

Would that I could have! I didn't expect to need it four or five days ago, unfortunately.

Go for this:
$185 - Intel Core i5-4430 CPU
$100 - MSI Z87M-G43 Intel Z87 mATX Motherboard
$57 - Crucial CT102464BA1339 8GB DDR3 1333 RAM
