• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

Has anyone used this PSU before????

I read a review on it somehwere, Unfortunately, ain't something that I can afford, though, They were running Prime95 on it for a few months and it's been pretty stable apparently, I'll try and dig it up.

there supposed to be allrihgt, but unless you really need the modular stuff, you can get something better for that much money...

Quoted from Miguel at ExtremeMhz:
>>>> The Ultra X-Connect PSU is designed to provide 500W of continuous power. To measure its performance, I recorded voltages both idle and under load. Sisoftware's Sandra 2004 Burn-In Wizard was used to load the system. When idle, voltages were all slightly above specification. There were no significant changes when loading the system. The +3.3V and +5V line remained within specifications and only a very slight fluctuation in the +12V line was apparent. This power supply was completely stable during operation. <<<<< End Quote Miguel

Looks like eric needs to do more testing ;) this is his whole stability test that i quoted above. heheheehe

Here are some properly tested psu's. They're a good read: http://www.silentpcreview.com/section4.html
