• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

Newb to the forum. Howdy! :)

Anyone using a solution at work to find / discover and audit their "assets"? We're "satisfied" with the solution we have buuuut, I'm not mentioning them because we're not THAT satisfied with them. LOL

We used to use MS SCCM but we recently (i.e. in the last few years) let in some shiny Macs, which SCCM no likey.

Just wanted to see what else people were thinking about and using. Thanks in advance!

Spiceworks is an option.

Also... PM a mod to move this to "Networking and Security" -- you'll have a more specific pool of eyes on this topic.

If you need a free option....Lansweeper is darned good. Takes a little bit of prep...installing IIS..install the app, deploy a script. But for free...wow does it give you good info.

Prior to finding Lansweeper a couple of years ago, I've tried spiceworks a few times and never found it to be that good..often missing a lot.

For our paid product...on clients with our support package, we use N-Able. Good stuff.
