hardfolding has me confused

I dunno if it me, but hardfolding.com's design is rather confusing. First let me ask this, this part of the forum is affiliated with hardfolding.com, correct?

Well, I made an account on that site, but half the time it doesn't even look like I am logged in when I am logged in on that site.

In the profile, it doesn't explain what[H]ard|Folding Stats ID, [H]ard|Forum Profile Link, or [H]ard|Folding F@H Stats ID is or what to put in those fields. I downloaded the GPU client but I have no idea how to see if I am putting points to my account I made on the site.

Can someone help me out? Also, how do you add the little stats sig?
 
well first off the hardfolding.com sites just for information.. it really doesnt have anything to do with the stanford site.. its just there to relay information to you..

just make sure in your gpu client that your using team 33 make a user name usually the same one your using on the hardfolding section.. which makes it easier for you to keep track of.. if you want to check your stats.. at the top of the hardfolding.com page you will see...
"A new stats section is being developed, it's status is currently in alpha test mode and is available here." click the "here" link.. it may be slow but it will bring you to stats page.. top left put your user name in and search for it.. it will come up then click your name it will show your stats there..

as for the various ID things..

hardfolding stats ID = http://www.hardfolding.com/fh_stats_test/index.php?pz=102&tnum=33&id=663147 <-- that number at the end of the url.. (dont use that number since its mine..)
hardforum profile link = the url that directs to your forum profile..

btw if you notice the stats page uses a different user database so you do have to re-register on there if you want to login there..
 
Yes, hardfolding.com is a bit tough to get around at the moment, and certain parts are way out of date. However, a new version of the site is currently being designed, similar to the stats part, which should be much easier to navigate and updated. However, it's not an easy process and is taking a while. King is doing a lot of work on it currently and I can tell you that the redesign is taking a while but should be much better with a number of great improvements.

 
One other thing, I followed the guide to get two copies of the GPU folder going if you have two cards. Well I did that and have each one set with a different ID, yet one just sits there at test protein A and doesn't ever get a protein to fold.
 
dont pay attention to the gui on the gpu2 client.. its bugged.. use something like FAHspy to view what the gpu clients doing.. much easier to keep track of 2 clients like your doing..theres a link for FAHspy in the folding guide.. the only thing that needs to be different is the system ID.. but since they are both starting up then they are set correctly so thats not the issue.. but like i said the gui is bugged and be careful because it will crash your nvidia drivers..
 
so, do we just make up our Stats ID # ? I still dont understand how to get one.
